1. About Kiosk Banking?

Kiosks are aesthetically and ergonomically designed cabins containing Computers They are used for advertising, promotion and information Purposes by equipping them with necessary security conditions. Kiosks can Be used for viewing or doing banking transactions.

2. What is SBI Kiosk Banking?

SBI KIOSK Banking is a facility provided by State Bank Of India wherein customers need not go to the SBI branch to make different transactions. The branch itself comes to the customer’s village/place where the customer can make the transactions.

3. Can I change the user name and logon/transaction password that were given to me?

It is mandatory for you to change the passwords, given to you, when you first logon to KIOSK Banking. Later at any point of time, you can change your password. User name cannot be changed at any point of time.

4. When can I change my logon and transaction passwords?

Passwords can be changed any time and any number of times. In fact we recommend that your password should be changed periodically to secure access to your account information.

5. What are the good practices for creating a password?

You are requested to select a word that is not available in an English Dictionary. Do not assign your name, your family or vehicle number as your password as it can be easily guessed.
Change your password frequently.
Please commit your password to memory. Do not write it down or paste it somewhere.
Do not divulge your password to anybody even if they claim to be from SBI.

6. What happens if I forget my logon password or transaction password?

Please contact the BC concerned and request for reseting the password.

7. I am unable to login with the user name and password give to me.

The user name and password are case sensitive. When you are typing the user name and password for the first time, ensure that you type the characters as they appear in the document sent to you. If you still encounter problems, register your issue with the BC concerned.

8. What should I do if my user id is locked?

If your transaction limit is reached, you have to wait till the next day to do further transactions. If you want your transaction limit to be increased please contact the BC concerned.

9. What should I do if my maximum transfer limit is reached?

10. What is MacID? Where can I find it?

MacID is the unique id that is given to the each system used by a KIOSK operator. You can find you MacID by typing the the command “ipconfig /all” in the command promp. It is shown as Physical Address in the result.

11. What are the precautions to be taken before fingerprint capture?

The finger to be captured should be dry,clean and there should not be any cuts or bruises on the finger. The finger should be placed properly on the sensor and it should be firmly pressed against the sensor.

12. How many passwords do I have for Internet Banking?

There are two passwords, one for logging-in to SBI KIOSK module and another for transacting on SBI KIOSK module.
Login Password – A login Password as the name suggests is required for logging in to SBI KIOSK Module.
Transaction Password – A transaction password is required whenever you are entering into any transactions on SBI KIOSK module.
Please note that both login password and transaction password can be the same.

13. What is the preferable photo format for photo upload in customer? Creation? And what is the preferred size?

The preferable photo format is jpeg. The photos size should be as small as possible.

14. Is signature upload of the customer mandatory?

The signature upload is not mandatory for customer creation.

15. What should I do if my business hours need to be updated?

Please contact the BC concerned and request for increasing the business hours.

16. Can I login simultaneously in two different systems?

No. You can login into only one system at a time and you can login only from a system with terminal ID configured in the system..

17. what is the process of inserting a terminal ID in the system?

Terminal ID will be configured by the BC and it will be mapped to a KIOSK operator.
